Hide Friends List in FaceBook

So to start with the trick you will require to hide your Friends List. This option is kept in a much secured place or a hidden place so many of you might not be aware of it.

Log in to FaceBook and go to your Friends List or Directly click on this link – FaceBook Friends

Now click on the manage option and select Edit Privacy

You will get a pop up with few options. To Hide Your Friends List on FaceBook you need to select “Only Me” option for “Who can see your friends list” setting. So now no one will be able to see your Friends List in FaceBook except you.

Hide Mutual Friends in FaceBook

As I have disclosed earlier; there is no direct setting to do this but there is a small trick which can help you get it done. This will be a two or multiple sided setting and I will tell you why.

Imagine there are 3 people Michael, John and Justus; wherein Michael is connected to both John and Justus. So both John and Justus will see 1 mutual friend in Michael’s timeline. Look at the scenarios below to know more about how it works.

Option 1

Michael has his Friends List Hidden. So when John and Justus visit Michael’s timeline they will be able to see One Mutual Friend in his list.

Option 2

Now Michael and Justus have their Friends List Hidden. So when Justus visit Michael’s timeline he will see One Mutual Friend in his list; but John won’t see any Mutual Friend in Michael’s list. This is because both Michael and Justus have their Friends List Hidden.

Option 3

Now all three have their Friends List Hidden. So now both Justus and John won’t see any Mutual Friend in Michael’s Mutual Friend List.

Now from the above trick it is clear that you and your friends can hide the mutual friend list by hiding your own friends list.
